GET / v1 / account

The basics of the account: shop name and URL, plan, currency, time zone, country and language, the connected payment providers, and the number of products, customers and orders.

orders counts paid orders and orders in payment, of all time, refunded orders included.
All times in the API and all date filters are UTC, except course release dates. Use timezone to convert them to the local time of the account.

A good first call: it tells you what kind of account you work with.
