# Change email address

To update the email address associated with your Tentary account, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to **[Edit Account](https://app.tentary.com/settings/user/edit)** in your **settings**.
2. Enter your new address in the **Email Address** field.

3. If you also want to change your password, fill in the **New Password** field. Otherwise, just leave this field blank.
4. To confirm the change, enter your current password at the bottom in the **Existing Password** field.

As a security measure, you'll receive a confirmation email at the new address. Click the link in the email to complete the change.
