# Send e-mail campaign

Sends a draft campaign to its audience now, or schedules it with `send_at`.

The campaign needs a subject, a text, safe links and, for a product audience, products. [`GET /v1/email/campaigns/{campaign_id}`](https://tentary.com/en/help/api/get-email-campaign/) shows `problems_before_sending`. Send a test with [`POST /v1/email/test`](https://tentary.com/en/help/api/send-test-email/) first.

**After the call:** the account owner confirms at the `confirm_url` within 5 minutes. Then check the result with [`GET /v1/confirmations/{confirmation_id}`](https://tentary.com/en/help/api/get-confirmation/).

The confirmation page shows the estimated number of recipients. After the send, [`GET /v1/confirmations/{confirmation_id}`](https://tentary.com/en/help/api/get-confirmation/) returns it.

## Authorization

`Authorization: Bearer <API key>`

A personal API key (tnt_...). Create it in the Tentary app on the page AI & API.

## Path parameters

- `campaign_id` (integer, required, path): A draft from list_email_campaigns or create_email_campaign. Limits: min 1.

## Request body

- `send_at` (string): Time with a zone, like 2026-11-26T09:00:00Z. Leave out to send at once after the confirmation.

## Response

The action waits for the seller's confirmation.

- `status` (string): Nothing happened yet. Allowed values: `needs_confirmation`.
- `confirmation_id` (integer): For get_confirmation.
- `confirm_url` (string<uri>): The seller opens it while logged in to Tentary and confirms.
- `expires_at` (string<date-time>): UTC, like 2026-01-31T14:05:00Z. The link works until then.
- `summary` (string): What the seller confirms.
- `message` (string): Next steps for the AI app.
