# Connect Claude to Tentary

> How to connect Claude to your Tentary account: add a custom connector, sign in with Tentary and allow access.

Connect Claude to your Tentary account. Then you ask Claude about your sales, customers and products and let it do tasks for you.

## Before you start

- You are the owner of the Tentary account. Team members cannot connect apps.
- Your Tentary account is activated.
- On the Claude Free plan you can add only one custom connector. In Claude Team and Enterprise, the owner of the organization adds the connector, see below.

## Connect Claude

This is how it works in Claude Free, Pro and Max:

1. In Tentary, open the page [**AI & API**](https://app.tentary.com/ai) and copy the address of the MCP server at the top: `https://mcp.tentary.com/mcp`
2. In Claude, open **Customize › Connectors**, directly at [claude.ai/customize/connectors](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors).
3. Click **Add custom connector**.
4. Enter the address `https://mcp.tentary.com/mcp` and click **Add**.
5. Click **Connect** next to the new connector.
6. Claude sends you to Tentary. Sign in with your Tentary login if you are not logged in yet.

You do not need to change the advanced settings. The default option **Use Claude's published identity** works with Tentary.

### In Claude Team and Enterprise

1. The owner of the organization opens **Organization settings › Connectors**, clicks **Add** and then **Custom**, and enters the address `https://mcp.tentary.com/mcp`.
2. Then each member clicks **Connect** next to the Tentary connector under **Customize › Connectors** and signs in with their own Tentary account.

## Allow access

Tentary shows the page **Claude wants to access your Tentary account** with the line **Verified domain: claude.ai**. Below it are your account and, under **The app may:**, the permissions.

1. Check the permissions. All are selected. You can clear some, but at least one must stay.
2. Click **Allow access**.

Then you get the email **New app connected to your Tentary account**, and Claude shows on the page **AI & API** under **Connected apps**.

| Permission | What it allows |
| --- | --- |
| See your products, orders, customers and revenue | Look up everything and send feedback to Tentary |
| Change products, prices, courses, coupons and your shop | Change products, courses, coupons, HTML landing pages and legal texts |
| Change customer data and give customers access | Give and remove access to products |
| Write emails and campaigns (sending always needs your confirmation) | Write campaigns and automations |
| Refunds and subscription cancellations (always need your confirmation) | Refund orders, stop subscriptions |

> **Important:** Claude sends data from your account, including names and email addresses of your customers, to Anthropic. Check that this is allowed under your privacy policy.

## Use Tentary in a chat

In the chat, click the **+** button, then **Connectors**, and turn on Tentary. Then ask your question.

Before Claude uses a tool, it can ask for your approval and shows the technical name, for example `create_coupon`. Sending campaigns, switching automations on or off, archiving, deleting, refunds, cancellations and deactivating customers always also need your confirmation in Tentary. ## What to ask first

- "How much revenue did I make last month, by product?"
- "Which customers bought my course this week?"
- "Create a 20% coupon for my course, valid until Sunday."
- "Fill in my legal texts with the Tentary templates."

## Disconnect

In Tentary, open the page [**AI & API**](https://app.tentary.com/ai) and under **Connected apps** click **Disconnect** next to Claude. Claude loses access at once.
