# Account overview

The basics of the account: shop name and URL, plan, currency, time zone, country and language, the connected payment providers, and the number of products, customers and orders.

- `orders` counts paid orders and orders in payment, of all time, refunded orders included.
- All times in the API and all date filters are UTC, except course release dates. Use `timezone` to convert them to the local time of the account.

A good first call: it tells you what kind of account you work with.

## Authorization

`Authorization: Bearer <API key>`

A personal API key (tnt_...). Create it in the Tentary app on the page AI & API.

## Response

- `shop` (object): The shop.
  - `name` (string, can be null): The name.
  - `url` (string<uri>, can be null): The shop page.
  - `online` (boolean): true = the shop page is on.
- `plan` (object): The seller's Tentary plan.
  - `name` (string): The name. Allowed values: `Start`, `Grow`, `Scale`, `Legacy`.
  - `status` (string): active, or another state like overdue, canceled or none.
  - `cancels_on` (string<date>, can be null): Like 2026-01-31.
  - `changes_to` (string, can be null): The plan after a planned change. Allowed values: `Start`, `Grow`, `Scale`, `null`.
- `currency` (string): Currency code, like EUR. Account currency.
- `timezone` (string, can be null): Like Europe/Berlin. Use it to convert the UTC times.
- `country` (string, can be null): Country code, like DE.
- `language` (string, can be null): Language of the seller in the Tentary app: de_DE.utf8 or en_US.utf8.
- `payment_providers` (array of object): Stripe, PayPal and Mollie, always in this order.
  - `name` (string): The name. Allowed values: `Stripe`, `PayPal`, `Mollie`.
  - `status` (string): The status. Allowed values: `connected`, `setup_not_finished`, `pending`, `not_connected`.
  - `used_at_checkout` (boolean): true = checkout takes payments with this provider now.
- `can_take_payments` (boolean): true = checkout can take payments.
- `counts` (object): Numbers of the account.
  - `products` (integer): Live and draft products.
  - `customers` (integer): Customers.
  - `orders` (integer): Paid orders and orders in payment of all time, refunded orders included.
- `links` (object): Pages in the Tentary app or on tentary.com.
  - `dashboard` (string<uri>): Page in the Tentary app.
  - `products` (string<uri>): Page in the Tentary app.
  - `customers` (string<uri>): Page in the Tentary app.
  - `orders` (string<uri>): Page in the Tentary app.
  - `payment_settings` (string<uri>): Page in the Tentary app.
  - `plan` (string<uri>): Page in the Tentary app.
